With such busy schedules, responsibilities and various demands for your attention, it is very easy to become overwhelmed. I understand that it is really hard to make yourself a priority. However, if you want to be able to meet the expectations that your various roles in life demand, whether it's family, work,or friends, you need to first take care of yourself. Therapy can provide that outlet, which allows you to have your own uninterrupted time to sit and proactively reflect on your life. It's easy to forget what the ingredients are to a healthy, happy life for yourself; as your therapist I will help you find what makes you feel fulfilled, and teach you how to use your resources to overcome the difficulties you are facing.
Taking the first step towards reaching out to a therapist is sometimes the hardest step, but take it anyway. You will not regret making the choice to better your situation.
